I want to tell you about a personal experience of mine...
Soon after I got pregnant, the pandemic kicked in and the first lockdown started. I spent the second half of my pregnancy at home, hardly ever getting out of the house.
It was the most magical time in my life, a long desired pregnancy. But sadly, I only have a few selfies to remind me of that special time.
But, I also have some beautiful photos that a friend photographer of ours convinced us to take, just a couple of weeks before I gave birth. And how grateful I am now that I have those!
These are invaluable to me now, because it's not just a selfie that will get lost amongst thousands of pictures in my phone's gallery, it's not just me or my partner by ourselves because there was no one there to take a decent picture of us together.
It's the beginning of our little family, and it's the end of the time when it was just the two of us. It's a huge huge huge milestone in our lives and that's why I value these photos so much.
To me, they are priceless!
